The Different Types of Hair Removal
Hair Removal Tweezing
What do I need to do to get started?
You will need a good pair of tweezers!
You really do not want to be tackling eyebrows or other sensitive areas with a set that will do damage!
How much money do I need to spend?
Expect to pay around 20 CHF for a recommended set of good tweezers.
And a good magnifying mirror if you intend to tweeze your face.
Pros
-
Tweezing can grasp thicker hairs very well.
-
It is a relatively cheap & cheerful approach to hair removal.
Cons
- Tweezers find it hard to grasp fine hairs – so this method can often thin the herd, but not clear the area.
- You cannot really use tweezers for all areas of the body for hair removal unless you have all the time in the world and steely constitution.
- Tweezing nostril hair, for example, can cause a lot of harm to the skin.
Please Note: Although we provide information on many hair removal methods,
only laser hair removal is available at our practice.
How Long Does It Last?
Expect around 2-4 weeks hair free on tweezed areas.
